How the trade program works

  • Trade volumes welcome. The chest that walks into your shop with the estate lot, the plate bin behind the auction house, the non-ferrous stream your yard cannot refine: send it all.
  • Consolidated settlements. Ship as often as you like; settle per lot or on a consolidated schedule that suits your bookkeeping.
  • Itemized settlement reports per lot. Every category, weight, rate and dollar, per lot, processed on the same cameras as every other parcel. Clean paper for your own clients and your accountant.
  • 300 pounds and up, we arrange freight. Below that, our discounted shipping labels or your own carrier both work; parcels shipped on your own account go to Silver Plate Canada, 2687 Slough St, Mississauga, ON L4T 1G2.

What we take from trade sellers

Everything on the what we buy pages, at volume: silverplate flatware and holloware, plate knives, sterling, pewter, brass and bronze, copper-nickel. Silver coins, gold, dental gold and bullion are handled by written quote, same as retail, with the same approval step. We also buy aluminum, copper, copper wire, stainless steel, industrial solder, cell phones and circuit boards, categories that suit trade lots especially well; no posted pricing, so email us and we will take care of you. Mixed and unsorted lots are fine; sorting on camera is the service.

Compliance, stated plainly

We operate a full anti-money-laundering compliance program as a dealer in precious metals under Canada's PCMLTFA, we keep a purchase register, and trade accounts get the same identity verification as any larger transaction. If your operation needs paper for its own regulator, ours will hold up.
